I can't find anything to complain about with Joe's! They quoted me a price, it actually went over the price by $25 due to a miscommunication within and they offered to waive the extra amount without hesitation. They, in fact, suggested it! I took it in for a loose starter cable and an inspection. They fixed the cable and the shifting mechanism of the manual gearbox and the clutch pedal seem to both have been tightened up as well. Things I wasn't expecting to be addressed seem to have been without extra cost, though I may be projecting here. What else can you expect from a business that shares its name with a Zappa song ! Go Joe's!

I felt like my visit at Joe's Garage this last week, was very good. The truck had not been in for quite awhile, for a variety of reasons, and I was not sure what state it was in now, as a result. Rather than take it to a local garage in the rural location I live in, I opted to drive it all the way into town to make sure it got a thorough checkup and whatever immediate treatment that it needed ie: oil change, and diagnosis of anything that would be a potential problem for me with it. My truck is fairly old and so I knew it was a rather risky thing to do, but I felt that tho it does not have a lot of "guts" for driving down the highway, that it sounded good and I was willing to take that risk, just to get it into Joe's. The price was "right" and I got fast/pleasant service. :-) Thankyou so much!
